Coin Strike is the arcade game I didn't know I needed
I almost skipped Coin Strike. The screenshots looked plain and I assumed it would be another throwaway timewaster. Then I played ten levels in a queue and realised I'd stopped checking the line entirely.
The hook is the physics. You pull back on a coin, aim, and release, and the way coins collide feels weighty and predictable in the best sense. Once you understand how they bounce off walls, you start setting up shots two moves ahead. Coin Strike rewards that kind of thinking without ever lecturing you about it.
My advice: slow down. The early levels tempt you to rush, but the fun really starts when you treat each board like a small puzzle and look for bank shots. The moving bumpers that show up later are where the game shines.
It's not perfect. There's a lull in the middle difficulty where a dozen levels feel too soft, and a couple of the later boards rely a bit much on luck. But it's tiny, it's fully offline, and it respects your time. That's a rare combination on mobile right now.
If you want something to fill five-minute gaps without a tutorial marathon or a login screen, Coin Strike is an easy recommendation.
