Simple ways to game longer on a single charge
If you game offline a lot, battery is the real enemy, not storage. A heavy RPG can drain a phone in under two hours at full brightness. A few tweaks stretch that out a surprising amount.
Start with the screen. Dropping brightness and turning off the highest refresh rate makes the biggest single difference. Most games don't need 120Hz to feel good.
Next, use low-power or battery saver modes if the game offers one. Many do now, and the drop in visual quality is usually minor for a big jump in playtime.
Airplane mode is a secret weapon for offline games. With no radios searching for a signal, your phone sips power. It's the one place where an offline game genuinely beats an online one.
Finally, close background apps before a long session. It won't double your time, but every bit helps when you're far from a charger.
